Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is where I usually stay because you
just can’t beat the location and it just brings back a lot of happy memories
for me. It is known as the “Castle in
the City’ and that is exactly what it looks like. The hotel turned 75 this year and is
undergoing a $12 million renovation. I
stayed there this summer and I am really excited to go back when the renovation
is complete and see this grand dame restored to her original splendor. 900 West Georgia
